“I wish they still imploded properties in Las Vegas. I'd love to see this one go down in person. At check in I asked for a quiet room on a high floor so I might work a few hours during the day and have fun in the evening. I was given a very outdated, noisy room on a middle tower floor. The couch the looked like something a couple of college students would pick up on the side of the road. The bed and pillows were very worn out. The work area was cramped and lacked power outlets. The giant coffee table was strangely out of place. The TV cabinet was beat up pushed up against tired wallpaper that seemed to have shadows of previous hanging artwork long gone. The bed propped up against the adjoining suite wall is perfect to hear the noisy neighbors and all the neighbors doors slamming at all hours of the day and night. The plumbing in the bathroom are would randomly start giving off a loud high pitched sound randomly and especially at night. I had to close the door to muffle the sound. When I requested the room be freshen up on day three of my visit I was told in the morning it would not be a problem then when followed up later in the afternoon was told I had opted out of daily cleanings. I said. yes that's why I had requested it. I asked to opt back into daily cleaning but that request was ignored. I asked Ivy if there were room upgrades available and received an advertisement for an upcoming concert. I went to the VIP lounge and informed the gentleman who assisted me I would need to leave early so he could release the room to be resold. He said no problem just let us know the day of departure and we will remove the days you don't stay. When checking out the woman who assisted me insisted on charging me an early departure fee. I had to call customer service from my car to argue my point again to get a refund on the fee. The parking garage is very sketchy with little to no security most of the time. Walking in from the parking garage the casino on that side is a ghost town with very few players and the weird arcade. A definite lack of dining options especially on weekdays. Masks are mandatory for everyone but it was not followed by half the guests in the casino and even less so on the elevators and hotel hallways. I wasn't offered an upgrade upon check in and probably would have taken it. The only positive quality of the corner room was the view of the strip and the mountains. It would have been better on a higher floor where my eye would not have been drawn the the back of the house industrial area and the Gold Coast garage. I will not be visiting the Rio or recommending the RIO to anyone I like anytime soon and maybe not to those I don't like it was that bad of an experience. I very happy this soon will no longer be a Caesar's Property.”

Hospedagem vale a pena. Quartos amplos e modernos.

I came for a gymnastics meet and came a day early to get some extra time off with my daughter. We planned on just being able to get in some pool time since we live were out current high temps are in the 30s and the 70s here seemed like a perfect swimming weather. Apparently the pools are closed for the season. We were still charged for the resort fee of 130 dollars. Apparently for the gym and a few other things. 1. Gym memberships are that for a month. 2. Maybe make that completely clear when you are having people book. 3. Maybe if people aren't going to be taking advantage of the other things not changing them? Seems like a waste and would have rather gotten a free show ticket instead if I was forced to pay it. I get it's a casino but when traveling with younger people this should be able to work. Especially since they are hosting a gymnastics meet.

Not the best experience. The room was okay except for the broken rod that pulls the curtains and the handle came off in the shower, while the water was too hot, and I couldn’t turn it down until I put the handle back on. Customer Service was terrible. Bellhop took forever bringing our bags up to the room, we should have just walked them ourselves. There should be better signs for where to go. The elevators to the tower was off to the side and we passed it a few times. Finding things was difficult. The few places we ate in the Rio were not good experiences. Will not be coming back to stay here again. The hotel was far away from everything else. The parking garage was sketchy. There were no signs that you had to go up to the 4th level to cross over and we walked around by the trash looking for the entrance. We did go to the front desk to all to opt into Ivy (because I didn’t know I might need it when I signed in) the lady left us standing there for ten minutes (while she tripped to figure it out) before we just walked away. I bought a salad and BLT late at night and got all the way up to my room before noticing I had nothing to eat it with. I put it in my fridge, thinking I would eat it the next day after I got a fork, but it froze so I threw away the 15 salad. My steak at the Sports American place was way over cooked. Then they remade it and way under cooked it. If I’m going to pay 50 bucks for a steak I expect it to be good. I was very disappointed. We had to request more pillows and towels, a slip mat and tissues. They brought up toilet paper and pillows, so one out of four is good, right? The TV didn’t work! Bring your own pillows and blankets. Don’t bother with customer service. Stick to the edges of the inside of the casino when trying to find your way. A lot of the shops and bars are closed. It’s kind of sad. I can say the bed was comfortable and the maids were nice.

We came here because we had such a good experience when we came a few years back. At that time we were taken care of by a wonderful hospitable employee and the room was incredible. This time we asked to upgrade the room so we had more space for our small children as we had a long drive and they needed room to expel energy. We were charged for the upgrade at full price of the room. - meaning we basically paid for an upgraded room and a basic king. We were asked if we wanted a remodeled room or not for an additional fee. We opted for an upgraded room. When we got to the room we were disappointed to find it was not cleaned and unidentified liquids all over the tables and walls. The bathrooms smelled as though they had been backed up for a week. We tried to give our kids a bath and the water wouldn’t heat up. We called and were told the engineer would come up and take a look at it -this was around midnight. After waiting for a short time we decided it might be best to avoid staying up all night and request a new room. When we called again we were told we weren’t being patient enough and that we needed to wait longer. When we asked for the new room they said they would not change the room unless the engineer deemed ours unworkable. We turned on the water again and waited until the engineer arrived about 45 minutes after the first call. Within 5 minutes of his arrival the water finally began to heat up and we were told to stay in our room. Expect to wait 45 minutes for your water to heat before being able to take a shower. We were disappointed in the service provided and the standard of guest treatment they have from their employees. -I will admit after the second call I was not at my best due to our long drive, how late it was, upset children and the status of our room. As a guest I had expected a clean room, a room that didn’t smell like a sewer and functional hot water within a reasonable amount of time. (45 minutes did not seem reasonable to me) we were disappointed to have paid an additional room price, and get the room we got with the service provided. Wish we could be refunded but that’s as big a dream as wishing we never stayed here.On the positive side we were not directly on the strip.

Precisa melhorar significativamente.

Just stayed here for 4 nights. We really wanted to like this place but unfortunately it just didn’t meet expectations. The bed was comfortable, The pillows were terrible and they gave us 3 for some odd reason. The place was clean but it wasn’t great. The towels were absolutely awful, Just really rough. They didn’t give us any hand soap. There was no coffee machine or microwave, I’m not sure if that’s just common in Vegas hotels or there just trying to get you to go to spend money on the Starbucks in the casino or the restaurants but it was just annoying. The worst part about our stay was the fact the water completely shut off, It was 4am and we had no hot or cold water, The toilet couldn’t flush. Then the next day at 7pm the hot water shut off again. I would of been understanding if they told us that something was being worked on but we had no idea what was going on. The best part about the hotel was the city view, It was great to see the whole city from a huge window. Minus the homeless camp right below the hotel. But I understand that’s probably not in their control.

Christmas eve to the 26. Needs updating. Our room was spacious for the price. We chose the mountain view instead of the strip. Beds were comfy and seemed new. It was clean but not squeaky clean: there were dried noodles on the floor under the table and brown splatter of something outside the bathroom door (with picture). Lampshades were tilting on the side. Bathroom has 2 sinks with spacious counter top. Bathtub was huge. Their bar soaps were environment friendly. There was a refrigerator contrary to what front desk said. It was hidden under the TV armoire. There was no microwave or coffee maker. Although our room was near the elevator (handicap), the walk to the parking lot was kinda far-even if it was the handicap parking. Yes I recommend this hotel for the price, ambiance, service (live & phone), and location. We did not try the restaurants at all.

We attended a convention here for 5 days and found the meeting rooms and amenities enjoyable. Bathrooms were cleaned often and the chairs were comfortable. I couldn't go above 3 stars though because of the awful cigarette smoke in the casino area which we had to pass through on the way to and from the convention. We also attended a Penn and Teller show, which was great! We heard the Rio is going to close and potentially be demolished to make way for a baseball stadium, and if that's true, make sure you check out the KISS mini-golf and museum soon!

The room decor is a bit dated but the size of the rooms are great. I enjoyed the off strip location. Ramon was my front desk agent. He was super friendly and really helpful. Big shout out to him! My stay was partly for business and I had to bring my family with me so I got do get work done but also have fun!!! Thank you! We had a great time.

It's a beautiful Casino. Friendly staff. Didn't like that the Valet was closed. Very odd . Pool is awesome. Room was great had a mini fridge, vanity with its own sink and a stool including a blow dryer and a round electronic make up mirror. Behind it is a mirrored closet with safe and ironing board/iron. Very spacious. Excellent views.

We stayed in the Masquerade tower and had a great view of the strip. The room was large and comfortable. There is a second sink and vanity outside of the bathroom and made it very easy for both of us to get ready at the same time. The hotel does need some updating.
The hotel is pretty easy to get into and out of. They have two large parking garages. We had planned on doing stuff off the strip for this trip, and the Rio put us in a great location for that.

We stayed here while meeting with some old friends. The rooms were fairly clean and rooms are large 500 square feet. nice and roomy. Check in was a very long wait but pleasant once we waiting in line for about 45 minutes. The Casino was nice and had a fair amount of game tables, slot machines and video poker. The pool area was nice but the security would ask you to put on a mask even if you were drinking or in the water. They would pass through about every 30 minutes telling everyone to where a mask. You are outside and socially distanced but people trying to tan were told to put on a mask. The servers out at the pool area were very helpful and friendly. Jacqueline and Allison were extremely attentive not only to us but they hustled and were taking great care of everyone.
